If you would like to experience how Countertechnique can support your performance practice, this workshop is for you! The demands of the dance world in the 21st century can be overwhelming. Together with James Vu Anh Pham, you will explore how Countertechnique can be applied within advanced repertoire, and provide more strategies for improvisational explorations.

James Vu Anh Pham has been working with Anouk van Dijk/Chunky Move, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui/Eastman, and is currently performing in Akram Khan’s Outwitting the Devil.

This workshop is designed for professional dancers and senior students who have taken Countertechnique classes before, preferably in the studio. For your benefit, it is recommended that if you have no previous experience in Countertechnique, you first take the Countertechnique Online open classes.

Maximum participants: 30. Participants are accepted on a first come first serve basis. REGISTER HERE.

The workshop will take place from 5-7pm on June 4-7 in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST). This makes the workshop easily acccessible for dancers in the Asia-Pacific and Europe; the workshop is not suitable for dancers located in the Americas. Before registering, check your time zone equivalent in the Time Zone Converter.

This is a workshop series, which means the workshop is designed for participants who can attend all 4 sessions in the workshop; you're not able to register for individual sessions.
