In this two-day workshop, Lillian merges her passion for Countertechnique and love of ballet. With her mind-full approach to the classical form, Lillian will guide intermediate-professional level dancers in an empowering and luscious ballet experience that applies Countertechnique tools to traditional exercises. This workshop is designed for people who yearn for more joy, freedom, and ease in ballet. Day One will explore feet and port de bras, and Day Two will explore “turnout".
A positive force in the dance world, and deeply committed to increasing equity, diversity, and inclusion, Lillian Barbeito is the visionary behind HAVEN Global Sanctuary for Dance. She is a certified Countertechnique Teacher (since 2008), Founding Director of BODYTRAFFIC, and Senior Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University.
